Is it safe?
Chemical peels are a safe and effective treatment to improve and maintain one’s skin. Dating back to ancient Egyptian times more than 5000 years ago chemical peels have been used to rejuvenate skin, reduce freckles and acne.
No activity restrictions, however sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 20 should be used post peel. Skin flaking and peeling can occur day 3-7.
How Long does it last?
Benefits of skin peels last for several months and continue to improve the dermal layer long after the peeling process. For best results peels are done in a series of three, one per month for three months.
Is it painful?
Most clients report a sensation of a mild sunburn for 3-4 minutes during peel process. Moderate itching can occur.
